Forested Families originated from a simple yet profound question: What if…? What if young adults who had aged out of the foster care system, left without a home or family, could still find a way to become connected to a family? What if those who suddenly found themselves on their own, with no one to turn to, could be embraced by a community that would offer the support and stability of a family environment? What if, instead of an 18-year-old facing life alone with no place to return to or anyone to celebrate milestones with, they were welcomed into a space where they could experience the warmth and security of belonging?  

These questions ultimately inspired the vision and creation of Forested Families, with a commitment to providing young adults aging out of foster care with the community, care, and stability of a family environment.
